This project has taken three years planning to come to fruition with the support of Natural England and other conservation organizations 8 Galloway steers were released to roam free on the common to graze during the summer months.
The Estate is involved with a number of local conservation projects, in particular the habitat restoration on Lydlinch Common. This page will be added to in the near future.
