Stock Gaylard Glamping reserves the right to change this website, including prices and terms and conditions, without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse entry to the glamping sites, cancel bookings, or instruct people to leave the glamping sites for any reason (for example due to inappropriate behaviour, dangerous weather, site conditions, etc)

Use of the Stock Gaylard Glamping website constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

1. Booking

To secure your booking a deposit of 30% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required. Bookings must be paid in full 4 weeks before your check-in date. If the booking is made less than 4 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit, or full payment, has been received. 

If the balance is not paid by the due date Stock Gaylard Glamping reserves the right to re-let the glamping site and retain the deposit.

2. Arrival and Departure Times

Check in is from 4pm. If you will be arriving late please let us know your estimated time of arrival so we can arrange for someone to meet you. Guests are required to vacate the site by 10.00am on the day of departure.

3. Cancellation

Bookings cancelled up to 2 months before the check-in date will be fully refunded minus a small admin fee.

Deposits for bookings cancelled between 2 months and 2 weeks before the check-in date will not be refunded.

Deposits and final balances for bookings cancelled after 2 weeks before the check-in date will not be refunded.

Any cancellation or change must be confirmed in writing / email, by the person who made the booking.

Bookings made through external companies such as Canopy and Stars will be subject to the external company’s own cancellation policies. Please check their terms and conditions for more information.

Stock Gaylard Glamping is not liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”) We strongly advise visitors to take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss etc.

4. Changes to your booking

If you need to make changes to your booking please let us know as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible to make changes to your booking. Where changes are possible there will be a small administration fee. Changes must be made in writing by the person who made the booking.

You cannot change a booking within 14 days of your arrival date.

If you roll over to another date for which a higher sum is charged, you will need to pay the difference.

5. Security Deposit

Upon paying for the holiday your card details will be saved with the payment company (Holiday Rent Payment) and any damage or theft of the properties up to a set amount can be charged to your payment card after your stay. 

The security deposit is a set sum for each site (Brickles – £200, Parsons Camp – £200, Sawpits – £100, Withybed – £300). This money will not leave your account unless instructed by us (Stock Gaylard) in the event of damage or theft of the property during your stay. We will contact you prior to taking any action. Should the damage or theft exceed the value of the security deposit and no agreement can be reached then we (Stock Gaylard) reserve the right to take the accused to a court of justice to obtain compensation for all items damaged or stolen. 

6. Insurance

You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance you purchase is adequate and appropriate for your particular needs. Please read your policy details and take them with you on holiday.

7. Your Responsibilities

Please note that when you confirm your booking, you have a contract with Stock Gaylard Glamping. As such you are under a responsibility to behave in a proper, appropriate and legal manner whilst staying at the property with due respect to the Stock Gaylard Glamping, the Property and other guests and their property. You are responsible for informing Stock Gaylard Glamping of any losses or damage to the property as soon as possible. Please note that you will be liable to pay Stock Gaylard Glamping for any losses or damage to the property caused by you or a member of your party (except reasonable wear and tear). You must also leave the property by the check-out time specified on your booking. If any guest behaves inappropriately or improperly (of which Stock Gaylard Glamping will be the final judge on the Property), or illegally, the Stock Gaylard Glamping reserves the right to ask the guest and their party (at their discretion) to leave the Property before the end of the holiday period and/or refuse any future bookings from you.  Any refund for so doing will be at the entire discretion of Stock Gaylard Glamping. In addition, the Owner reserves the right to sue the guest for any loss, damage or injury caused to Stock Gaylard Glamping, the Property or to other guests and/or their property. 

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions have been drafted in accordance with and are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any and all disputes arising out of these Terms & Conditions.
